Film club 2016

Dear Parents,

From Thursday 14th January, we will be running Film Club. This will be open to all pupils in Yr5 and Yr6 on a first come, first served basis and will run until the easter holidays. It will run from the end of school until 5:30pm, when you will need to make arrangements for your child to be collected from school. There is no charge for this club

The club is free and is part of a national network of film clubs, giving children access to a variety of exciting movies to watch and review. All the films we watch will be rated U or PG so will be suitable for the children however, due to the nature of how we receive the films, we will be unable to publish a list of the films we will be watching each week advance.

As part of the club, your child will get access to a website where they can safely log in, review the films they have watched, enter competitions and they may also have the opportunities to go on cinema visits or take part in film making activities.

If you are interested please ask at the office, if any spaces are available you will be notified.

Filmclub gives pupils the opportunity to explore the world of film. For more details, see www.filmclub.org or you can also visit intofilm.org
