Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Wheeler Primary School is committed to the academic and personal development of all pupils. We recognise the diverse and individual needs of all of our pupils and plan carefully for any additional support that may be required.
Wheeler Primary adopts a whole school approach to identifying and supporting Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Staff work together to ensure the inclusion of all pupils. We are committed to ensuring that pupils with SEND achieve their full potential.
We believe in positive intervention; removing barriers to learning; raising expectations and accelerating levels of achievement. We work in partnership with other agencies to ensure that all pupils with a Special Educational Need and/or disability have a positive educational experience.
The School’s SEND Co-ordinator is Miss C. Binks.
